About the Webinar

The first webinar of the REBORN series introduced the project and offered a comprehensive overview of the key strategies developed for designing a smart engineered cardiac patch aimed at supporting tissue regeneration following myocardial infarction. The session set the scientific and technological scene in which REBORN operated, presented the project’s overall objectives, the challenges it addressed, and its expected impact. Participants were also introduced to the consortium and the multidisciplinary team behind REBORN, highlighting the complementary expertise of the partners involved.

The webinar showcased the development and optimization of different multifunctional biomaterials and advanced manufacturing approaches that led to the successful design of the first REBORN patch prototype.

This event marked the launch of the REBORN webinar series, with future sessions dedicated to the technologies underpinning the final device and offering in-depth insights into specific project activities and results.
