From June 21 to 23, 2023, the Scuola Superiore di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento Sant’Anna participated in the VIII Congress of the National Group of Bioengineering (GNB) held in Padua and organized by the University of Padua.

The Congress serves as a convergence point for biomedical research and clinical end users deeply integrated into the framework of cutting-edge international bioengineering research, merging engineering expertise with clinical applications.

Taking place biannually, the event offers a comprehensive overview of recent activities and groundbreaking research in the field of biomedical engineering. It aims to engage members of both the scientific and industrial communities.

During the Congress, representatives from the Sant’Anna School presented the REBORN poster (see picture below) on the development of an ultrasound stimulation setup, slated for use in in vitro tests for LIPUS-mediated drug release.

This noteworthy contribution underscores the commitment of the Scuola Superiore di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento Sant’Anna to advancing the intersection of engineering and medicine, showcasing the institution’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of biomedical research.
